This foo lion was a long planned commission for a friend. She has done so much for me, not the least of which is sending me large amounts of high quality faux fur from her extensive collection. Most of the fur I use came from her and much of it is very hard to find if not impossible to find from places that don't make it anymore. She gave me a very open ended commission for a Foo Lion, but she wanted a cool color scheme and she also wanted it to be about a third larger than the average room guardian. You can't really tell from the picture though. I wish I had taken a scale picture so you could compare:/ Anyway, this room guardian has a moonstone heart and I'm so happy and proud of it. All the color transitions are different furs hand sewn together most of which she gave me, including the mane and tail that are made from recycled real lamb fur.

What is a room Guardian??

Room Guardians are small creatures that protect one's home from negative spirits and energies. These friends can be easily placed on window sills, kitchen shelves, dressers, or wherever to keep watch over the room. Each guardian has a soft faux fur coat and each is individually sculpted from the wire frame to the clay face and hands, so no two are alike. Room Guardians are not plush, they have a solid body but their arms, tails, and necks are bendable and Inside each of their chests is a unique crystal heart to give each one a different energy. These little guys have a lot of character and they love having a home to watch over.
