It is said that when this ancient sea dragon is disturbed, it will break from the ocean waves and thunder into the sky with such intensity that a brutal hurricane follows in its path. Those who have seen the eye of a cyclone might catch a glimpse of this mighty beast bringing forth the destructive winds of the storm in the wake of its spiraling flight.

This is a handcrafted one of a kind original art doll. This dragon has an onyx crystal heart. Its head stands about 8" and it stretches out to a length of about 30" long. The face is hand painted and sealed and it also features glow in the dark paint! It has coat of high quality faux fur that is very soft. The neck and spine feature a durable plastic ball and socket armature that can be posed in many different ways. The ears are connected by a ball and socket at the base so they can be prepositioned as well. The tail, back legs, and forelegs all have fully posable wire armatures inside. Even the toes were sculpted with a rubber material over a wire armature so they can grab and grip as desired. The spines are made from a moldable plastic so they will not break and they were sewn securely into the fur.

What is a room Guardian??

Room Guardians are small creatures that protect one's home from negative spirits and energies. These friends can be easily placed on window sills, kitchen shelves, dressers, or wherever to keep watch over the room. Each guardian has a soft faux fur coat and each is individually sculpted from the wire frame to the clay face and hands, so no two are alike. Room Guardians are not plush, they have a solid body but their arms, tails, and necks are bendable and Inside each of their chests is a unique crystal heart to give each one a different energy. These little guys have a lot of character and they love having a home to watch over.

 1. How did you come up with the room guardian concept?
The idea caught fire when a friend and I were walking through an antique store. On one of the bookshelves sat two stuffed foxes wearing riding clothes. I contemplated buying them because one could convince themselves that their expressionless stares were actually seeing and watching over the room. It was as if they were alive though they wer

Well....It's hard to just say in general what you should do. There are a lot of methods to
doll making. I can give you more specific tips if you have a question about something. But
honestly, experimentation and practice is the best teacher. Compare my first room guardian
to my last and you'll see what 4 years of constant doll making will do haha.

Wow, this one looks so amazing, I really love the color combinations! You put so much detail into everything too, the fur cut pattern, the pose and you're also a great photographer! I especially love the guardians you make with horns and bones, how do you manage to integrate them into the doll so perfectly? It's just too beautiful~ Great job again! <3

Thank you so so much! Gah, I am so happy you noticed all those little details I put into it!
Though, I did not cut the fur that way. The fur actually came like that!

It takes a lot of experimentation to get the horns integrated right but in the end, it works!
