Just to clear up some confusion, you can definitely keep your characters and do what you like with them. Feel free to make more morgul wolves, it is an open species, just make sure to credit them to me

MORGUL WOLF DESIGN CONTEST!!!!!
Hello everyone!


First off, let me thank you all for giving me over 100,000 page views! I cannot really believe how fast everything as gone but I am delighted to see so many people enjoying my work. You guys are always so kind and supportive I am lucky to have such wonderful watchers!
To celebrate this milestone, I want to encourage you to participate in my first ever contest! I want this to be fun and I hope you all can take some time to join! 

About the Contest: PLEASE READ EVERYTHING!
This is a design contest for my original species, the morgul wolf. You may recall the one who fell in love with the pink llama 
 
Please note, this is not an art contest. You do not have to have an awesome complete composition, just a cool design.

I'll have you know, I made sure to read every word of every description and envision every design as a 3d physical room guardian. It was so much fun to read your interpretations of a morgul wolf society. It gave me many ideas myself and I'm so excited that I gave many of you in the middle of an art block a reason to create. There was such a wonderful range of inspiration, from video games, birds, candy, cultures, to even tablecloths, I am so impressed with your creativity... seriously. Many of your stories had common themes and a few of your design stories were eerily similar, as if this character was speaking to multiple people to be translated into the physical form.

Now for the contest results. Let me just say that this was the hardest thing I have EVER done EVER.... There were way too many good entries. I feel guilty for just choosing two to make into guardians. 

Because there were so many awesome entries, I decided to extend the honorable mentions prizes. I will give 2 entries $75 coupons to my etsy shop and 3 entries $50 coupons. 

I really just want to make an entire tribe of morguls using all of your designs, but alas, for the purposes of this contest, I can only choose 2 to make into room guardians.

The moment I saw this design, I fell in love with it. I love the contrast of the albino face with the dark body. This design has a very natural flow that is extremely unique. I am super excited to take it on as a room guardian. 

The color palette used in this design is simply genius! I love the subdued gradient from red to blue and though it has many accessories, it doesn't look crowded. Every choice seems to fit perfectly into the flow of the whole and contribute to a strong character. It will be a challenge to recreate as a room guardian, but I know the end result will be amazing.

I was instantly drawn into Miirna's eyes when I saw her. She has a strong spirit and I really love her background story. I just couldn't shake her design from my head once I saw it. Sometimes, you just know when a character is calling to you. She is striking, and even though I don't get the pleasure of making her into a guardian I just plain adore her.

I want to thank everyone who participated in this contest. Thank you for being patient with me since it was my first to host and thank you for taking the time to make such wonderful designs. Judging this contest was, to be honest, awful. I sat for hours looking at the designs over and over. Every time I looked at a new one I changed my mind. I loved reading them all, but choosing only 2 to make into room guardians was super difficult. I hope you had fun with this! I will definitely be doing another at some point, but for now I need to rest my racing heart
